Dear Praying Friends,
For some reason, second term is always rough. This year is no exception. Our student body and staff have been hit by a very contagious flu virus that has been circling around our campus for the last two weeks. Our Student Health Center nursing staff has been working round-the-clock taking care of sick kids. Because of the high numbers, they have over-flowed into a nearby dorm and into the nurse’s apartments. Taking care of almost 50 kids daily has been a real challenge for our nursing staff as well as other staff who have been called in to help serve meals, change sheets, etc. Everyone is tired and worn. Please pray earnestly for one of our students who is very sick with malaria. She was admitted to the hospital on Saturday afternoon and is in quite serious condition. We covet your prayers for her and her family at this time and for the doctors and nurses who are attending to her.
